voice and data mobile traffic, but who?

Ericsson has announced that during December 2009, the traffic of data has surpassed the traffic of voice. They also announce that 400 million mobile broadband subscriptions are now generating more data traffic than the voice traffic from the total 4.6 billion mobile subscriptions around the world. Passed the PR talk, what does it really tell us?

  1. People use the Web anywhere. It has nothing to do with mobile. It has to do with making actions on data… now.

Mobile User Agent Strings and Wreckage Ahead

In a society with strong diversity, you design the system to be flexible enough for everyone. Often it means to find the sweet spot where you maximize the experience and the access whatever your requirements are. The work of Web standards is part of this system to maximize the experience.
